Job summary

42 North Dental in the Boston area seeks a Dentist to lead the patient care experience from exam through treatment planning, with in-office specialties like periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The Dentist will diagnose and educate patients, create and review treatment plans, review records and xrays, perform procedures, and maintain high standards of ethics and care, all while staying current with new developments.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics at all times.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
