Job summary

42 North Dental, based in the United States, seeks a dentist for a part-time role with a steady patient flow and full clinical responsibility. The Dentist will manage exams, treatment planning, and delivery of care including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The schedule runs Saturdays 7 AM–12 PM and two Saturdays per month, with a daily rate of $750–$900 USD. Daily duties include patient education, record maintenance, and collaboration with a network of Doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited dental program.
• Active state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B is documented.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
