Job summary

42 North Dental in the United States seeks a Full-time Associate Dentist to guide the patient journey from initial exam and diagnosis through treatment planning and delivery, including in-office specialties. You will educate patients on options, create and review plans, perform restorative and preventive care, and maintain thorough medical and dental records with the highest ethical standards.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Active state dental license.
• HBV vaccination documented.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS or CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
