Qualifications

• Dentists must hold a license to practice dentistry in the state
• CPR/BLS certification is required
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation is required
• Malpractice insurance proof is required

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create and review treatment plans with patients
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures in the oral cavity
• Maintain high quality standards of care and ethics
• Stay current with new developments and continuing education
