Job summary

42 North Dental in Michigan is seeking a Full-time General Dentist for Charlotte, MI. The Dentist will oversee the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam to treatment, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

The position offers a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections, with a Monday–Thursday 8 AM–5 PM schedule. Benefits include health insurance, dental/vision coverage, a 401K, CE opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Licensed to practice dentistry in the state.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation is required.
• Malpractice insurance proof is required.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health options and care.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care as needed.
• Carry out surgical procedures in the oral cavity.
• Stay updated with new developments and continuing education.

Education

Responsibilities:

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Skills & Qualifications:

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification

Annual Rate

$150,000 - $250,000 USD
