Job summary

42 North Dental in Michigan seeks a full-time General Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care in a busy practice. The role covers exams, treatment planning, restorative and surgical procedures, with a focus on patient education and high-quality care.

Expect 1–3 days per week (Mon–Fri), 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401K, CE opportunities, and more.

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Update and maintain patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor tooth and jaw development
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest standard of care, ethics and professionalism
• Stay updated with new developments through continuing education

The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Overview:

• Full-time General Dentist in Saginaw, MI
• 1-3 days per week, Monday - Friday
• 8AM-5PM

Responsibilities:

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Skills & Qualifications:

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
