Job summary

42 North Dental in Rushland, PA is seeking a Dentist for a part-time role with responsibilities from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The Dentist will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients on treatment options, and maintain patients' records while keeping up with advances in dentistry. The practice offers flexible Saturdays and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education courses

Schedule:

• Part-Time: Labor Day - Memorial Day - Two (2) Saturdays per month from 7AM-12PM

Skills & Qualifications:

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification

Daily Rate

$750 - $900 USD
