Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a licensed Dentist to lead the clinical patient experience from initial exam to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers continuing education, mentorship, and a supportive network. Responsibilities include diagnosing, creating treatment plans, reviewing options with patients, maintaining records, and staying current with advances in dental care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination and malpractice insurance is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on treatment options and care plans.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain accurate medical and dental records and x-rays.
• Perform surgical procedures and provide restorative care as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Promote oral health and disease preventionDiagnose oral diseasesEducate patients on oral health and various treatment optionsCreate treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral healthReview treatment plan options with patientsReview, maintain and update patients' medical and dental recordsReview and interpret x-rays and diagnostic testsMonitor growth and development of the teeth and jawsProvide proper restorative and preventive dental carePerform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavityMaintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalismKeep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development
