Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join our established practice. The Dentist will oversee the entire clinical patient experience from examination and treatment planning to delivery of care, including in-office specialties like periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We welcome a strong flow of new patients monthly. The position is part-time with Saturday coverage and a daily rate of $750–$900 USD.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues in the oral cavity.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics.

Part-Time: Labor Day - Memorial Day - Two (2) Saturdays per month from 7AM-12PM

Skills & Qualifications:

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
