Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to lead the patient care journey from exam to treatment delivery. You will manage in-office specialty services and collaborate with the team to provide high-quality care and patient education.

The position supports flexible scheduling with part-time hours and a strong patient flow, offering comprehensive benefits and opportunities for continuing education through Harvard rounds opportunities and internal CE events.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state dentistry license.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Malpractice insurance proof.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and plan treatment.
• Educate patients on oral health options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patient records and x-rays.
• Perform restorative, preventive, and surgical care as needed.
• Stay current with new dental developments and best practices.

The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Schedule:

• Part-Time: Labor Day - Memorial Day - Two (2) Saturdays per month from 7AM-12PM

Responsibilities:

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Skills & Qualifications:

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification

Daily Rate

$750 - $900 USD
