Job summary

42North Dental, based in Boston roots but serving the United States, seeks a part-time Dentist to join a full-scope practice including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. The role features a schedule with two Saturdays per month (7 AM–12 PM) and growth opportunities through Harvard Rounds Network CE events.

Qualified candidates hold a DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program, current license, and BLS/CPR certification, with health, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program

Current state dental license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Schedule:

• Part-Time: Labor Day - Memorial Day - Two (2) Saturdays per month from 7AM-12PM

Skills & Qualifications:

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification

Daily Rate

$750 - $900 USD
