42North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care for a growing patient base. The role covers initial exams, treatment planning, and delivering high-quality care across in-office specialties. Daily patient flow and collaborative clinical environment are emphasized.

The position requires a DMD or DDS, valid state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification. Competitive daily rate and supportive team culture offered.

Qualifications

• Dentist must hold a DMD or DDS from a CODA-accredited program.
• Must be licensed to practice dentistry in the state.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsabilités

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients about oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and professional ethics.

In our established practice, we welcome a strong flow of new patients each month.The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Schedule:

Part-Time: Labor Day - Memorial Day - Two (2) Saturdays per month from 7AM-12PM

Responsibilities:

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through current continuing education courses and professional development

Skills & Qualifications:

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation (ADA CODA)
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
