Job summary

42 North Dental in PA is seeking a full-time Associate Dentist to join a growing network. You will deliver comprehensive dental care, create treatment plans, and work with in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics.

The position offers a daily guarantee or percentage, four days a week (Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM–4:30 PM), and a sign-on bonus of up to $20,000. Competitive benefits and ongoing CE opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Active state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care. In-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification
