Job summary

42 North Dental in Montoursville, PA is seeking a full-time General Dentist to lead the patient experience from exam through delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will diagnose, create treatment plans, review options with patients, maintain records, and stay current with new dental technologies through ongoing CE opportunities. Excellent earning potential and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and tests.
• Monitor development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest standards of care and ethics.
