Job summary

42 North Dental in Montoursville, PA is seeking a full-time General Dentist to oversee the patient experience from exam to delivery of care. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, and create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients' oral health. Benefits include Health Insurance with HSA, dental and vision coverage, 401K with financial guidance, CE opportunities, and access to Harvard Rounds

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program is required.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high ethical standards and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
