Job summary

Qualifications

  • Current North Carolina dental license.
  • Current DEA registration and required certifications.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a dental team.
  • Open to experienced dentists and new graduates.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive general and restorative dental care.
  • Develop treatment plans after exams and diagnoses.
  • Explain diagnoses, treatment options, risks, and costs to patients.
  • Deliver care per clinical standards and practice philosophy.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with owner dentist, hygienists, assistants, and staff.
  • Foster patient relationships and continuity of care.
  • Support practice growth and community outreach as appropriate.
  • Refer to specialists when needed.
  • Follow infection-control, OSHA, HIPAA, and radiographic-safety rules.

Carolina Crossroads Dental Care is seeking a compassionate, motivated associate dentist to join our established general dental practice in Statesville, North Carolina. This position is ideal for a dentist who values high-quality, patient-centered care and would like to build a long-term career within a supportive private-practice environment.

The associate will initially work part time while developing a patient base, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time position as the schedule and practice demand grow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive general and restorative dental care
  • Perform thorough examinations, diagnose oral conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Clearly explain diagnoses, treatment options, risks, benefits, and financial considerations to patients
  • Deliver treatment consistent with current clinical standards and the practice’s philosophy of care
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with the owner dentist, hygienists, assistants, and administrative team
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with patients and encourage continuity of care
  • Participate in practice growth, patient education, and community outreach when appropriate
  • Refer patients to specialists when treatment falls outside the dentist’s experience or scope
  • Follow all infection-control, OSHA, HIPAA, radiographic-safety, and professional requirements
