Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist for Gentle Dental Rochester to deliver comprehensive care from exam to treatment plans, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

You will diagnose, educate patients, review records, and develop treatment options while maintaining the highest standard of ethics and patient care; you’ll join a strong team with mentorship and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program is required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patients' oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain, and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on the teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices, and standards of care through continuing education and professional development
