Job summary

Celebrating Smiles in Elgin, Illinois seeks a General Dentist to join our technology-driven, patient-centered practice. This full-time role provides exposure to implants, extractions, and molar endodontics in a busy setting with a strong patient base.

You will work with iTero scanners, digital radiography, intraoral cameras, and laser dentistry while enjoying professional development and potential partnership opportunities.

Qualifications

  • DDS/DMD from an accredited dental program.
  • Current valid state license to practice dentistry or eligible for licensure.
  • Two years of practice experience preferred.
  • CPR, DEA, and other state requirements as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Examine, diagnose, and treat oral health conditions.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff to provide comprehensive care.
  • Uphold applicable professional standards and practice policies.
  • Pursue continuing education to enhance clinical skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in expanding their surgical skill set, including dental implants, extractions, and molar endodontics, while delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care. Schedule:

Full-time with up to two Saturdays per month. As the practice continues to grow, additional scheduling flexibility may become available.

Responsibilities
  • Examine, diagnose, prescribe, and carry out (or direct others in carrying out) oral health care services that are in the best interest of the patient.
  • Contribute towards a team oriented and collegiate environment by working with other clinical and non-clinical staff members, as necessary.
  • Uphold the policy, protocol, and procedures in compliance with the most current accepted professional standards.
  • Improving your clinical skills and acumen through participation in continuing education and training opportunities (continuing education support is available)
  • Participate in various community outreach initiatives, as necessary.
Qualifications
  • DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
  • Current, valid state license to practice dentistry (License must be in good standing) or eligible for licensure.
  • Two years of practice experience, is preferred.
  • Other certifications as required by state to include - CPR, DEA, etc.
