Practice Name: Family Dentistry Associates of Johnstown

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Our owner doctor is highly hands‑on and passionate about mentorship. As an Associate, you will be supported daily and encouraged to grow clinically, receiving the guidance needed to build confidence and independence over time. Our facility features 7 operatories and a robust hygiene program with 4 hygienists, providing a stable and busy environment for a community-focused doctor.

Job Responsibilities
  • Core Clinical Care: Diagnose and treat oral health conditions; perform procedures including fillings, crowns, bridges, root canals, and extractions.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and present comprehensive, individualized treatment plans; examine X-rays and diagnostic tests to determine patient needs.
  • Patient Connection: Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care; explain treatment options and risks in a clear, patient-friendly manner to build long‑term trust.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and support dental hygienists, assistants, and front office staff; collaborate with specialists when necessary.
  • Compliance: Maintain accurate patient records and strictly follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
  • Practice Growth: Monitor production goals and maintain efficiency in scheduling to support practice health and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Education: Doctoral degree (DMD or DDS) from an accredited dental school.
  • Licensure: Active Pennsylvania dental license (or eligibility to obtain one).
