Regional Service Manager - South

Role and Responsibilities

1. Perform demand field service in Process Automation Energy Industries Service in accordance with ABB standards, quality, and safety guidelines.
2. Coordinate closely with customers and ABB teams, acting as the technical point of contact while delivering quality service.
3. Work independently and as part of a team based on customer and contract requirements in Greater Houston, TX, or Lake Charles to Baton Rouge, LA.
4. Perform entry-level field service tasks, identify technical issues, and analyze remotely or on-site.
5. Prepare material lists and ensure availability and quality of materials, parts, and equipment.
6. Execute work with a first-time right approach, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
7. Troubleshoot equipment failures and recommend solutions to prevent future issues.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree preferred; high school diploma with military technical training considered.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent education and accomplishments.
• Willingness to travel overnight up to 80%.
• Legal authorization to work in the US for ABB.
