Job summary

A legal services firm is seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense. This remote position offers a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $180,000 per year. The ideal candidate should have a Juris Doctor degree, admission to the California bar, and at least 4 years of experience in civil litigation defense law. Responsibilities include managing complex cases, conducting legal research, and representing clients in trials. Excellent negotiation and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar of California.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in civil litigation defense attorney (Ideally Insurance Defense).
• Proven experience in mortgage, banking, real estate and other related fields like construction defect.
• Exceptional analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in legal research software and MS Office Suite.
• A commitment to delivering excellent client service and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to clients on various insurance matters, including premise liability and transportation.
