A leading educational institution in Atlanta is seeking an experienced Associate Dean for the School of Nursing. The Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions (Lewis College) at Georgia State University invites applications and nominations for the position of Associate Dean for the School of Nursing (SON). The Associate Dean provides leadership for the SON and has administrative responsibility for all components of its academic portfolio, including associate, baccalaureate, master’s, and doctoral nursing (DNP and PhD) programs delivered in various formats.
The Associate Dean serves as the Chief Academic Officer and directs administrative functions of the school in collaboration with two Assistant Deans and five degree program directors. The SON has 53 full-time faculty members and a current student body of 947. This is a 12-month tenure-track/tenured faculty appointment.
This position is located at Georgia State University, an urban-serving R1 institution with multiple campuses and a broad portfolio of health sciences programs. Atlanta provides an urban research and clinical setting with diverse healthcare and research partnerships.
