Job summary

FP Movement, URBN's performance-wear label, seeks an Associate Creative Technical Designer to join our in-house sample development team. You will contribute to professional pattern making, garment construction, and hands-on sample development to elevate craftsmanship and technical excellence across performances and studio wear.

You will collaborate with the Creative Technical Director, designers, and sewers to draft patterns, finalize muslins, and ensure accurate hand-offs to production while

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional experience in garment construction and pattern development.
• Advanced flat pattern making and draping techniques.
• Ability to sew high-quality samples independently from patterns.
• Experience in a fast-paced, design-driven apparel environment.
• Familiarity with tech packs, construction terminology, and garment standards.

Responsibilities

• Translate concepts into refined prototypes and development samples across FP Movement product.
• Draft, modify, and finalize patterns and muslins using advanced techniques.
• Build and iterate on samples across woven fabrics and stretch fabrics for studio and performance wear.
• Troubleshoot fit, construction, and fabrication issues with pattern makers and designers.
• Review tech packs and pattern cards to offer improvements and ensure feasibility.
