Job summary

Fingerpaint Marketing in Cedar Knolls, NJ, is seeking an experienced Creative Director to lead pharmaceutical advertising campaigns and mentor a copy team. You will partner with art directors to shape standout concepts, manage deadlines, and present to clients with confidence.

The ideal candidate has 8–11 years in pharma advertising, prior team leadership, and strong presentation skills. You will review briefs, estimate copy hours, and guide performance feedback throughout the year.

Qualifications

• 8-11 years of pharmaceutical advertising experience required.
• Experience managing teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with art partner to produce standout and strategically focused concepts and campaigns
• Collaborate with all agency disciplines (account management, digital strategy, etc.)
• Manage workloads to maximize productivity of the copy team, ensuring that everyone is busy and billable
• Demonstrate to clients that you understand their products and marketing challenges and are responsive to the strategic and creative needs of their business
• Represent the agency at client meetings and social events as appropriate
• Lead concept presentations
• Provide written and face-to-face feedback for annual performance reviews, as well as ongoing feedback throughout the year
• Identify and interview prospective creative candidates
• A sense of humor that is actually funny
