Job summary

Sanofi is seeking an Associate Clinical Research Director in Cambridge, MA to provide medical leadership for immunohematology and sickle cell disease development programs. The role partners with Clinical Research Directors and investigators to design, execute, and interpret trials while ensuring safety and scientific rigor.

You will contribute to study protocols, medical training, data review, and regulatory submissions, driving high-quality evidence across the drug development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD) or MD/PhD required; hematology training preferred.
• Clinical research experience in Sickle Cell Disease or related hematologic disorders preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical research experience.
• Strong understanding of GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical input and medical monitoring for immunohematology studies.
• Support protocol development, feasibility assessments, and risk evaluation.
• Collaborate with Clinical Study Units, investigators and cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to drug development strategy and regulatory submissions.
• Serve as medical advisor within study teams and ensure data relevance and safety.
