Job summary

Inspiration Mobility Group in Washington, DC seeks a finance professional to be a core analytical pillar supporting strategy across EV charging, energy infrastructure, vehicle leasing, and capital formation. You will build sophisticated financial models, evaluate transactions, and prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Reporting to the CFO, you will own pricing and project finance models, collaborate with credit and capital markets teams, and help design scalable processes

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an analytical environment (investment banking, management consulting, project finance, structured finance, advanced data analysis).
• Strong quantitative and modeling skills with fluency in structured finance concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build dynamic financial models for commercial and corporate activities, including project finance structures, rate dynamics, and forecasting.
• Own pricing, project development, and project finance models for accuracy and usability.
• Collaborate with credit/underwriting and capital markets on structuring, modeling, and risk evaluation for leasing, charging infrastructure, and strategic investments.
• Design transaction structures and credit enhancements aligning customer needs with returns and risk targets.
• Partner with Legal to shape and finalize robust transaction documents.
• Draft investment memos, due diligence, and risk/return analyses for executive insights.
• Assist capital raising with CIMs and investor materials for debt and equity financing.

Your Mission:

Your mission is to be a core analytical pillar within Inspiration, where you will support financial strategy and execution across strategic corporate initiatives, EV charging and energy infrastructure, vehicle leasing, real estate, and capital formation. Your role will center on architecting sophisticated financial models, evaluating complex transaction structures, preparing thoughtful and clear presentations and analyses for internal and external parties, and supporting the design and improvement of streamlined, scalable processes that directly accelerate our growth.

You will report to: Chief Financial Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Build sophisticated dynamic financial models supporting the full spectrum of commercial and corporate activities - including project finance structures, commercial utility rate dynamics, and enterprise forecasting and planning
• Own the company’s core pricing, project development and project finance models, ensuring accuracy and ease-of-use and improving them over time
• Collaborate with credit/underwriting and capital markets teams to support structuring, financial modeling, and risk evaluation for vehicle leasing, charging infrastructure, and strategic corporate investment opportunities
• Conduct rigorous analysis to design and recommend creative transaction structures and credit enhancements that align customer needs with internal return, portfolio quality, and risk targets
• Partner closely with the Legal team to shape, review, and finalize robust transaction documentation
• Manage the drafting of comprehensive investment memos, synthesizing rigorous due diligence and quantitative risk/return profiles into clear, executive-ready insights
• Contribute to corporate and asset level capital raising efforts by preparing financial models, investor presentations, Confidential Information Memoranda (CIMs), and other materials for debt and equity financing partners

Who You Are:

• You have at least 2 years of experience in a highly analytical environment such as investment banking, management consulting, project finance, structured finance, advanced data analysis. Transaction experience in the Energy, Mobility or Specialty Finance sectors preferred
• You have superb quantitative and modeling skills, including deep fluency in structured finance concepts and math, and sensitivity analyses.
• You are comfortable developing, explaining, and executing complex financial engineering, structuring, and pricing concepts
• You have proven ability to leverage AI to improve outputs and boost productivity
• You have excellent ability to translate complex analysis into compelling, clear written communications—memos, presentations, emails, and investor materials for diverse audiences
• You are a rigorous problem-solver, communicator, and critical thinker with a proven talent for working on multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously without compromising attention to detail
• You have working knowledge of GAAP principles and practices is highly desirable
• You have strong Excel skills are required; we live in the Microsoft environment. Experience with Confluence, Jira, Sigma, or similar BI tools is a bonus

Salary:

$125,000 – $195,000 + annual bonus eligible

Location:

Washington, D.C. Our in-office team works from our Dupont Circle office Tuesday through Thursday. Remote work on Mondays and Fridays is voluntary, and employees are welcome to work from the office if they’d prefer.
