for overseeing all aspects of cash forecasting, monthly financial close, and financial reporting. Owns month-end close execution and adherence to deadlines. Reviews and approves journal entries and reconciliations. Manages accounting staff members, particularly general ledger and accounts payable functions; provides mentorship to enhance department member skills and performance. Monitors and forecasts cashflow; reviews and approves payment runs. Reviews monthly financial performance and budget variances; ensures financial statements are properly presented under US GAAP. Conducts regular audits and reviews of financial data to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement. Coordinates with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory agencies, as needed. Oversees consolidations and intercompany accounting. Ensures tax filings are completed accurately and timely. Supports and assists in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Assists in developing and maintaining internal controls, SOX-like standards, and regulatory requirements. Collaborates with FP&A and operations on budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
