Job summary

ZS Associates in Boston seeks a Strategy Insights and Planning Associate Consultant to tackle client challenges using advanced analytics and problem‑solving.

You will design market analyses, develop client relationships, mentor junior staff, and support project management with a focus on Health Systems and Hospitals. A PhD or Master's with quantitative background is preferred; 2–5 years of consulting experience required. This role involves travel and a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• PhD or Masters with quantitative coursework in business, economics, marketing, psychology, life sciences, or social sciences.
• In lieu of a PhD, 2-5 years of relevant post‑study professional experience will be considered.
• 2-5 years of relevant management consulting experience required.
• Experience with Key Account Management, Health Systems and Hospitals is highly preferred.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Leverage problem solving skills and frameworks to develop solutions to our clients' business problems.
• Assist in structuring and conducting market research and/or desk research to derive insights and contribute to client decision making.
• Design custom analyses using Excel, Access, Confirmit and ZS's proprietary software.
• Synthesize and communicate results to clients and ZS teams through oral and written presentations.
• Develop client relationships and serve as key point of contact on certain aspects of projects.
• Mentor and support development of Associates on your projects and teams.
