Job summary

Marshall & Stevens Inc. in New York is seeking an Energy & Infrastructure Valuations Associate to join our Energy & Infrastructure Practice. The role focuses on valuation analyses for traditional and renewable assets and report writing; hybrid work with 3 days onsite per week.

You will work with a team to develop valuation models, analyze data, and prepare client reports. Ideal candidates have a finance/business background, strong analytical skills, and are US work authorized.

Qualifications

• U.S. work authorization required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Business; recent graduates encouraged.
• Valuation experience is a plus.
• Renewable energy industry knowledge is a plus.
• CFA, ASA candidacy is a plus.
• Intermediate/advanced understanding of financial theory and business transactions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Professional presence and a self-starter.
• Relationship focused with team members.

• Assist senior associates, managers and directors in developing valuation models, performing analytic research, and writing reports for clients.
• Collect, analyze, and correlate data for valuation analyses and perform ancillary analysis of economic, industry, and financial data.

What This Role Will Do

The Energy & Infrastructure Practice primarily values traditional and renewable energy generation and manufacturing assets. The Associate will be responsible for working with a team to analyze cost, market, and income approaches to value to support the fair market valuations of project assets for our clients. Report writing is also part of the job responsibilities.
