Job summary

Focus Financial Partners is seeking an Associate to join the Client Service Solutions team, supporting client relationships, data management, cashiering and money movements, and firmwide support functions. Location options include Needham, MA and Portsmouth, NH.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑focused, energetic, and communicates clearly. A bachelor’s degree and 1+ year in financial services operations are preferred; proficiency in Excel and CRM tools is desirable.

  • 1+ years of experience in an operations role within the financial services industry preferred.

  • Experience managing processes and reviewing colleagues’ work in prior roles.

Responsibilities

  • Daily Cashiering: process and reconcile money movements on behalf of clients with strict adherence to internal policies and procedures.
  • Interface directly with external custodian banks in the account opening and asset transfer process.
  • Lead account opening and new client onboarding project plans, including communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Maintain existing client information; ensure all necessary data and documentation is accurately captured and preserved in the Firm’s database
  • Support alternative investment processing procedures on behalf of clients.
  • Work closely with other middle office teams to ensure client portfolio information is accurate and updated on a regular and timely basis.
  • Assist in all ad hoc information or report requests from advisors.
  • Participate in the enhancement of firmwide projects designed to improve the overall client experience, internal workflows, or data movement around the Firm.

Job Description
Primary Responsibilities

  • 1+ years of experience in an operations role within the financial services industry preferred. Prior experience in wealth management, RIA, or family office or comparable. Internship experience will also be considered.

This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $60,000–$70,000 base salary compensation range. Actual base pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k). Please note that the job title is subject to change based on the selected candidate’s experience and education.
