Job description

We are seeking experienced Civil Engineers and Land Surveyors for our Soquel, CA office.

Qualifications

• California Civil Engineer license
• Interest in residential, commercial, and municipal site development and related infrastructure
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, meet deadlines, and work under minimal supervision
• Extensive experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
• Position is onsite at our office in Soquel, CA with eventual allowance for one day a week remote work in the future

Responsibilities

• Feasibility studies
• Roadway and infrastructure design
• Analysis and design of grading, storm drainage, storm detention/retention, water systems, and sanitary sewer systems
• Erosion control plans
• Permit processing
• Constructability analysis
• Quantities and cost estimates
• Bid document preparation
• Office tasks: coordination with clients, engineers, and architects
• Project management tasks: preparing proposals for new work and monitoring overall project budgets and schedules
