Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking a full-time lab professional for the 2nd shift (3pm–11:30pm; training 7am–3:30pm). The role emphasizes GMP/GLP compliance, sample prep, data review, and routine maintenance of lab instrumentation such as LC/MS and GC/MS.

Strong English communication and US work authorization are required. Ideal candidates hold a BS in Chemistry or related fields, prior lab experience, and familiarity with EPA or internal QC requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Apply GMP/GLP principles in all duties.
• Perform sample prep/analysis for various methods.
• Review data, prepare SOPs, and maintain equipment.
• Draft standard solutions and manage reagents.
• Adhere to safety and waste disposal protocols.
• Support training and complete tasks on 2nd shift.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Perform prep/analysis of samples of various matrices for various analytical methods
• Analyze/prep samples and QC for routine testing
• Review, work up, and assemble all supporting data for work performed
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment used for routine work
• Read, understand, and carry out SOPs required by EPA or company methods, governing agencies, clients, and our internal QC department
• Prepare standard solutions and other reagents as needed
• Use word processor and spreadsheet programs on PC
• Dispose of all chemical wastes using approved methods
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned

This position is full-time, 2nd Shift, M-F 3pm -11:30pm. Training will be M-F, 7am-3:30pm.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field. Equivalent relevant experience may substitute for degree.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship

Ideal Candidates will have

• BS in Chemistry, with some analytical Chemistry classes
• Previous lab experience is a plus
• Experience with instrumentation is a plus, including LC/MS or GC/MS
• Environmental Science coursework or experience is a plus, but is not required

Additional Information

Pay rate: $18-19/hour + 10% shift differential
