The position is 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Tuesday to Saturday. Ideal candidates are organized, detail-oriented, and have strong communication skills.

Job description

Position Summary

The Associate Chemist prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard analytical techniques in accordance with Eurofins Environment Testing Quality Assurance programs and standard operating procedures. The role may require standing for long periods, working with organic solvents, laboratory glassware, and specialized equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform routine laboratory tasks including sample preparation, chemical analysis, data evaluation, and reporting.
  • Operate and maintain complex instrumentation and associated software (training provided).
  • Maintain personal training documentation and keep training records current.
  • Complete assigned QC samples (MDL, LOD/LOQ, PT) promptly.
  • Document NCMs for projects with quality issues.
  • Use backlog reports to manage workload.
  • Follow standard methods under close supervision.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly.
  • Proficient with IDOCs for assigned methods.
  • Work in compliance with health and safety, and quality assurance standards.
  • Promote the company vision.
  • Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and glassware.
  • Dispose of analyzed samples appropriately.
  • Assist in other laboratory areas as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Basic Minimum Qualifications
  • BS or BA in Chemistry or related field, Associate Degree, or 2 years of related laboratory experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

  • Previous experience in a lab or production setting.

Pay Rate

$18‑19 per hour plus 10% shift differential.
