Job summary

Eurofins is seeking an Associate Chemist for Environment Testing on the 2nd shift (Sun-Thu, 3:00pm–11:30pm) to support routine QA/QC testing and data reporting. You will prepare reagents, run analyses, and ensure accuracy and compliance with SOPs.

Responsibilities include instrument maintenance, data processing, and generating clear reports while adhering to GMP/GLP guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with GMP/GLP in laboratory settings.
• Ability to prepare reagents, samples and standards.
• Strong attention to document control and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine instrument maintenance and calibration.
• Document testing, observations, deviations and results per SOPs.

Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Prepare reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures using proper documentation
• Performs laboratory operations with good laboratory technique and high degree of accuracy and precision
• Document testing, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely, and in compliance with SOP, regulatory, and client requirements
• Understand and perform calculations as required by testing methods
• Read and understand analytical procedures and internal SOP's
• Understand and utilize computers to, access information, process data, generate reports and evaluate data, upload data to the lims
• Process data, generate reports, and evaluate data, and track sample status
• Detect problems which could affect results and bring these to the attention of department management
• Perform routine instrument maintenance and calibration of equipment
• Work overtime as workload requires
• Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
• Performs other duties as assigned

This position will be Sun-Thurs, 3pm-1130pm. Training will be M-F, 7am-330pm.
