Job summary

Grifols is seeking an hourly Associate Chemist/Associate Biochemist/Associate Biologist for the Failure Analysis Lab (FAL - QC) in Clayton, NC. The role focuses on investigating quality complaints and in-house issues across manufacturing samples, collecting and evaluating data, and producing detailed reports while maintaining lab and equipment.

The position requires 2 years of chemistry coursework and relevant lab experience; a BS/AS in a medical technology or biology-related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• AA or BS in medical technology/clinical laboratory science or BS in biology/chemistry with 2 years of lab experience.
• Two years of college-level chemistry with associated labs and analytical chemistry coursework.
• Experience in GLP/GMP laboratory environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate returned product and in-house issues related to quality.
• Collect raw data, evaluate results, and write investigation reports.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and the work area.
• Handle investigations involving particle isolation/identification (FTIR/Raman) and container-closure testing.
