Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in theology, spirituality, pastoral ministry or equivalent subject matter accredited from a US Department of Education Approved Organization.
• Master of Divinity degree accredited from a US Department of Education Approved Organization (Preferred).
• Ecclesiastical endorsement from the chaplain’s denomination or faith tradition (Required).

Responsibilities

• Provides pastoral care services on an on-call basis for patients in various situations, including end-of-life issues.
• Offers comfort and support for patient family members and friends.
• Responds to requests for pastoral care in a timely manner.
• Ensures religious and spiritual needs of patients and loved ones are met; serves as a spiritual resource for staff.
• Aligned with organizational mission, vision and values.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

• Provides comfort and support for patient family members and friends.
• Responds to requests for pastoral care in a timely manner.
• Ensures the religious and spiritual needs of patients and their loved ones are met. Acts as a spiritual resource for staff.
• Accountable to the organizational mission, core vision and values.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
