Job summary

Reyes Family of Businesses is seeking an Associate Driver in New York to unload and deliver products to customers and perform vehicle inspections. This role requires operating conveyors and carts safely and may include pallet jacks and other hand trucks.

You must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL and be able to lift 25–50 lbs regularly, up to 170 lbs. Expect weekend, holiday, and OT shifts as part of a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Unload and deliver products to customers and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment
• Operate commercial motor vehicle, conveyors and carts safely and professionally
• Securely operate powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or hand trucks
• Handle returns, collect payments and pallets, complete delivery and pickup paperwork
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be able to work any shift, weekends, OT and Holidays.
• Class A License required
• Must be comfortable delivering throughout the 5 boros

Position responsibilities

• The Associate Driver is responsible for unloading and delivering products to our customers as well as pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle
• This role must have the ability to safely and professionally operate a commercial motor vehicle including conveyors and carts
• Drivers will securely operate powered industrial trucks and/or material handling equipment such asan electric pallet jack and/or hand truck
• You will pick up returned products including payments and pallets as well as completing delivery and pick up paperwork
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience

• 0 to 1 plus years of specific driving experience
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License or equivalent driving experience in the military
• Must be able to lift products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds

Preferred Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
