Job summary

HireTalent - Staffing & Recruiting Firm is seeking a procurement professional to manage sourcing and purchasing activities in a fast-paced environment. The role involves placing and expediting purchase orders, supplier liaison, and maintaining records, with a strong focus on accuracy.

The candidate should have 3-5 years in sourcing and purchasing, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with SAP. Hybrid work model with in-office presence 2 days per week is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Communications (Preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a buyer or procurement role, preferably in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Placing purchase orders, expediting, and providing customer service functions.
• Compilation and maintenance of information and records to prepare Purchase Orders.
• Contact vendors and suppliers for quotations and maintain relationships.
• Reconciliation of payable discrepancies and customer problems.
• Research specifications of products not clearly identified.
• Enter and edit purchase orders and blanket order releases.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a buyer or procurement role, preferable in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment.

• Proven experience in a buyer or procurement role, preferably in a fast-paced or manufacturing environment.
• This candidate should be experienced in sourcing manufacturing and MRO related materials.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• High level of accuracy in order processing and documentation.
• Intermediate Excel skills. Familiarity with SAP is a plus.

Hybrid candidates are expected to be in office 2 days per week.
