Description

The Associate Business Analyst is responsible for improving processes and efficiency within the Wiland APP and partner ecosystem. Reporting to a senior leader in the Data Governance & Corporate Development division, this role involves participating in multiple projects aimed at delivering new or improved processes and systems for internal use.

Essential Functions

1. Assist in gathering and documenting business needs, processes, and workflows related to internal applications. Collaborate with management to track issue frequency and impact, advocating for impactful changes.
2. Translate business requirements into clear user stories, functional and non-functional specifications in partnership with product managers and stakeholders.
3. Develop understanding of organizational structure, policies, and operations to recommend process improvements and support business planning.
4. Work with the Quality Assurance team to test and validate solutions against business and functional requirements.
5. Support the triage and resolution of urgent production issues with relevant teams such as Product, Support, and Operations.
6. Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights that inform business decisions.

Qualifications

Experience, Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Product Management, or a related field; college transcripts showing a minimum 3.0 GPA may be required.
• 1-2 years of product management or business analysis experience in a software environment preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with curiosity about business needs.
• Basic knowledge of business or systems analysis.
• Experience creating user stories, functional specifications, and process documentation is a plus.
• Experience with Direct and Database Marketing is preferred.
• Knowledge of User Experience best practices is helpful.
