How You Will Contribute

1. Assist with commercial lines renewal underwriting
2. Assist with joint marketing trips with senior underwriters
3. Negotiate rates and terms with carriers
4. Discuss coverage & forms with retail customers
5. Assist the sales process on new & renewal business
6. Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of Hull & Company and Brown & Brown
7. Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures
8. Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills
9. Always conduct the highest level of confidentiality
10. Other duties as needed

Skills & Experience to Be Successful

1. 2 – 4 years’ experience in Commercial Multi-Line Insurance OR a Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management
2. Sales & Production driven mentality
3. Experience working in a paperless environment preferred
4. Must be detail-oriented and possess the ability to multi-task
5. Ability to work well with others in a production team environment
6. Committed to excellent customer service
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
8. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
