Jobot is seeking a CA-licensed attorney with 2-5+ years of defense experience for a prominent California firm with a strong culture and hybrid schedule. This role focuses on student services, disabilities, and special education, including Title IX and related statutes.

As part of a large AmLaw 200-scale practice, you will handle litigation with OAH, CDE, OCR matters and collaborate with school districts and county offices.

Competenze

• CA-licensed attorney with 2-5+ years of defense experience in student services, disabilities, special education, Title IX/UCP
• Experience in litigation and interactions with state and federal education agencies
• Strong research and analytical abilities for complex disability and discrimination matters

Mansioni

• Manage defense matters in education-related settings including litigation and administrative proceedings
• Liaise with school districts, charter schools, SELPAs, and county offices
• Collaborate with teams to advance client objectives and ensure compliance with applicable laws

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year

We are seeking CA licensed attorneys with 2-5+ years of defense experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Student Services
• Disabilities
• Special Education
• Title IX and UCP
• Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973
• Experience working with school districts, charter schools, SELPAs, and county offices
• Litigation and interactions with California Office of Administrative Hearings (OAH), California Department of Education (CDE) and Federal Office for Civil Rights (OCR) regarding disability and discrimination matters
