Job summary

Parnalllaw is seeking an experienced attorney with 5+ years in personal injury or insurance defense to join our team and advocate for injured clients. The role involves intake, investigation, negotiation, and litigation across a collaborative environment.

We offer relocation support to Albuquerque, NM, a competitive base with performance bonuses, and comprehensive benefits. Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with opportunities for community outreach and pro bono work.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of personal injury or insurance defense experience.
• Willingness to relocate to Albuquerque, NM with assistance provided.
• Strong desire to work as part of a team to advocate for injured clients.

Responsibilities

• Intake / First Meeting with Clients: show compassion and document facts.
• Investigation: direct investigations and assess coverage with evidence.
• Negotiation: prepare for trial, maintain relationships with adjusters, negotiate strategically.
• Litigation: prepare pleadings and discovery, plan trial strategies and proceedings.
• General Responsibilities: review correspondence and collaborate to move cases efficiently.

Responsibilities

Intake / First Meeting with Clients

• Show compassion and build trust.
• Document all facts pertinent to liability, damages, and coverage.
• Outline client and office action items to posture the case effectively.

Investigation

• Direct investigations to build strong cases for trial.
• Assess insurance coverage and gather critical evidence.

Negotiation

• Prepare cases for trial while evaluating Full Settlement Value.
• Maintain relationships with adjusters while negotiating aggressively and strategically.
• File suit when necessary and guide clients through the litigation process.

Litigation

• Prepare pleadings and discovery for lawsuits.
• Strategize and execute trial preparations, mediation, or arbitration.

General Responsibilities

• Timely review and sign correspondence drafted by team members.
• Collaborate effectively to ensure cases move efficiently through the process.

Relocation Support

• Top Pay: $200,000–$400,000 annually (base salary + performance bonuses paid twice monthly).
