Job summary

We Are Legal Revolution in Port Washington, NY is seeking a Junior Personal Injury Associate to join our plaintiff-side litigation team. This in-office role focuses on handling cases through discovery and preparation, with direct client contact and hands-on mentoring.

You will work five days per week from the Port Washington office, handling auto accidents, trip-and-fall, premises-liability and other matters while building trial readiness.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of legal or litigation experience.
• Genuine interest in plaintiff-side personal injury litigation.
• Strong legal research and drafting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organisation and case-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Willingness to develop deposition, negotiation and trial skills.
• Stable employment history and an interest in making a long-term move.
• Ability to work from the Port Washington office five days per week.
• Previous plaintiff personal injury experience is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage plaintiff personal injury cases through litigation and resolution.
• Meet and communicate regularly with clients.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands and responses.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Attend court appearances, hearings, mediations and settlement conferences.
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance carriers.
• Prepare cases for trial and second-seat experienced trial attorneys.
• Attend regular file reviews and case-valuation meetings.
• Work closely with an assigned paralegal and the firm’s support departments.
• Handle automobile accident, trip-and-fall, premises-liability, Labor Law, nursing-home negligence and occasional medical-malpractice matters.
• Appear primarily in Nassau County and the New York City boroughs, with occasional appearances in Suffolk and Westchester Counties.

Location/Schedule: Port Washington, Long Island – In office five days per week

Base Salary: Approximately $155,000, plus a discretionary annual performance bonus
