You will analyze policies, draft coverage opinions, and participate in depositions and mediations while collaborating with partners on significant matters within a global platform.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Florida Bar in good standing.
• 2–4 years of substantive litigation experience focused on insurance coverage.
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies.
• Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations.
• Experience drafting litigation documents and participating in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.

ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY – LITIGATION

INSURANCE COVERAGE PRACTICE

Location: Miami, FL

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Insurance Coverage Practice Group. This growing practice handles complex, high-value coverage litigation and market conduct matters on behalf of both domestic and international insurers. The work includes commercial general liability, commercial property (including business interruption and environmental matters), errors and omissions claims involving attorneys, agents, and accountants, as well as directors and officers coverage.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented litigator to develop substantial insurance coverage experience while working on significant matters within a collaborative global platform.

Candidate Profile

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
  • Law Review and/or Honors
• Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
• 2–4 years of substantive litigation experience, with a focus oninsurance coveragematters
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies
• Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations
• Demonstrated experience drafting litigation-related documents
• Experience participating in litigation proceedings, including depositions and mediations, among others
• Familiarity with some or all of the following: bad faith insurance claims, commercial general liability, commercial property, errors & omissions, and directors & officers
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
