Job summary

Weiner Brodsky Kider PC in Washington, DC, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our regulatory practice. The role is based in Washington, DC on a hybrid schedule, with remote consideration for highly experienced candidates.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active D.C. bar membership.
  • 3–7+ years of experience in corporate and/or regulatory practice.
  • Law firm experience preferred; government or in-house experience considered.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Experience using Westlaw Advantage and/or CoCounsel is a plus.

About Us

Weiner Brodsky Kider PC is a collegial financial regulatory boutique with a national client base. We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our growing team and support a sophisticated financial services regulatory practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on federal and state financial services regulatory matters
  • Legal research and analysis on novel issues and fact patterns
  • Plan and manage non-depository change of control applications and approvals process for high-stakes transactions
  • Support mortgage compliance and licensing work, including regulatory analysis and counseling
  • Assist with regulatory strategy, examinations, and related enforcement or supervisory matters
  • Draft and review legal memoranda, contracts, regulatory submissions, policies, procedures, and client communications
Qualifications
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active D.C. bar membership (or ability to waive in)
  • 3–7+ years of experience in a corporate and/or regulatory practice
  • Law firm experience preferred; will also consider government or in-house experience, particularly focused on mortgage compliance and/or licensing
  • Strong legal research and writing skills
  • Experience using Westlaw Advantage and/or CoCounsel is a plus
Location

This role is based in Washington, DC, on a hybrid schedule. Remote work may be considered for a highly experienced candidate.
