Job summary

Our Client in Boston, MA, a highly respected national labor and employment law firm, seeks an Associate Attorney for its Employment Litigation practice. Hybrid work arrangement offers meaningful litigation responsibilities and close client interaction.

Ideal candidates have JD from an accredited school, MA bar in good standing, 3–7 years of labor and employment litigation experience, and strong writing and deposition skills. Large firm or employment boutique background preferred.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Massachusetts Bar admission, in good standing.
• 3-7 years of substantive labor and employment litigation experience.
• Experience handling employment-related disputes including discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage/hour matters.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in a broad range of employment litigation matters in state and federal courts, admin proceedings, and arbitration.
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct witness interviews, legal research, and case analysis.
• Take and defend depositions and assist with trial and hearing preparation.
• Develop litigation strategy and work directly with clients to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Advise employers on employment law compliance and workplace risk management.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's labor and employment practice on complex matters.
• Manage case files and deadlines from inception through resolution.

Our client, a highly respected national labor and employment law firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Employment Litigation practice in Boston. This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated attorney to handle sophisticated employment disputes while working closely with employers on complex workplace matters. The role offers meaningful litigation responsibility, client interaction, and long-term growth within a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.

Candidate Profile

• JD from an accredited law school with a strong academic record
• Active Massachusetts Bar admission, in good standing
• 3-7 years of substantive labor and employment litigation experience
• Experience handling employment-related disputes involving claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, wage and hour matters, and other workplace-related issues
• Strong experience drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and related litigation documents
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Experience appearing in state and federal courts, as well as arbitration proceedings
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Experience providing employment counseling and advice to management teams is preferred
• Large law firm or employment boutique experience preferred
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
