This role focuses on sophisticated whistleblower and consumer protection class actions, providing opportunities to handle complex matters and gain meaningful courtroom experience early in the career. The attorney will manage portions of cases, draft pivotal pleadings, handle discovery and ESI, take and defend depositions, and work with experts through trial preparation.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–7 years of post-bar litigation experience preferred.
• Strong writing, analytical and legal research skills.
• Experience with depositions, court appearances, complex discovery and ESI.
• Demonstrated desire to build a career as a litigator.
• Strong academic credentials and a stable employment history.
• Collaborative, intellectually curious and comfortable working in a demanding litigation environment.
• Plaintiff- or defense-side litigation backgrounds may be considered.
• Prosecutor or public defender experience may be transferable.

The Opportunity

A highly regarded plaintiffs' litigation firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its San Francisco Bay Area office. This is an opportunity for a litigation-focused attorney to work on sophisticated, high-impact matters and obtain meaningful courtroom experience early in the role.

The associate will join a sophisticated whistleblower and consumer protection class actions practice, handling complex matters on behalf of individuals, consumers and other parties pursuing significant claims. Candidates should be motivated by public-interest litigation and the opportunity to advocate for individuals and entities against powerful defendants.
