Candidates must live within commuting distance to Chicago, IL, and demonstrate outstanding organizational and written/oral communication skills, strict ethics, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Illinois
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a law firm
• Superior organizational & time-management skills to meet deadlines
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior management and employees at all levels
• Strong legal research skills; LexisNexis proficiency a plus

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy & diversified caseload of the Firm's clients in Illinois.
• Communicating with clients regarding their respective matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, reviewing & drafting agreements, etc.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Legal research related to simple and complex issues in contract law and other areas of consumer law.
• While this role is hybrid, you will be required to travel for in court appearances.

Associate Attorney

We are looking for a full-time Associate Attorney to join our firm's practice in Chicago. The ideal candidate is one who has experience drafting legal documents such as pleadings and legal memoranda, has strong organizational skills, and is willing to take on a heavy workload. This position imparts broad responsibilities and exposes you to a range of legal issues related to consumer protection, including transactional and civil litigation matters. Because our firm's headquarters are in New York, this position entails communicating with our main office exclusively via telephone and electronic means (e-mail, Microsoft Teams, etc.).

Candidates must be within a commutable distance to Chicago, IL to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities
