Job summary

Hawkins Parnell & Young, LLP seeks an Arizona-licensed attorney with 2–4 years of experience to join our litigation team. The successful candidate will gain exposure to all stages of trial preparation and trial from start to finish, working with a seasoned team of litigators.

The candidate will be part of a national team of attorneys across multiple offices and will collaborate on high-risk litigation and business disputes.

Qualifications

• Active Arizona Bar license is required or pending
• 2–4 years of experience in litigation
• Experience with trial preparation and trial from start to finish
• Strong writing and research skills
• Ability to take and defend depositions

HPY represents a variety of clients from global corporations to small local businesses and individual clients in high-risk litigation and business disputes across the country and U.S. Territories. The successful candidate will be a part of a national team of 140 lawyers and professional staff spread across ten offices located in Atlanta, Austin, Charleston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, Napa, New York, St. Louis, and San Francisco.

Position responsibilities include:

• Trial preparation including strategy discussion, discovery, records review, client interview and witness preparation
