  • 4+ years of substantive antitrust experience in private practice or government.
  • Experience litigating antitrust disputes and/or government investigations.
  • Experience advising clients on antitrust compliance and distribution practices.
  • Deposition, motion practice, and complex legal drafting experience.
  • Strong writing, analytical, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage sophisticated matters with autonomy and sound judgment.
  • FTC/DOJ interaction experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in complex antitrust litigation in federal and state courts.
  • Counsel through civil and criminal antitrust investigations by DOJ/FTC.
  • Advise on merger reviews, investigations, and compliance matters.
  • Analyze competitive practices and provide guidance on distribution arrangements and collaborations.
  • Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and investigative submissions.
  • Conduct witness preparation, depositions, and factual investigations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on high-stakes matters.

HYBRID (3 days/week in-office)

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 international law firm, is seeking a talentedAssociate Attorney to join their premier Antitrust & Competition practice in Philadelphia.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work on high-profile antitrust litigation, government investigations, merger reviews, and compliance counseling matters. The successful candidate will advise sophisticated clients across a broad range of industries while collaborating with accomplished practitioners on some of the most complex competition matters in the marketplace.

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in Pennsylvania, in good standing
  • 4+ years of substantive antitrust experience in private practice, the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, or a comparable governmental agency
  • Significant experience litigating antitrust disputes and/or representing clients in government investigations
  • Experience advising clients on antitrust compliance, distribution practices, competitive collaborations, and non-compete arrangements
  • Demonstrated deposition, motion practice, and complex legal drafting experience
  • Strong writing, analytical, advocacy, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage sophisticated matters with a high degree of autonomy and sound business judgment
  • Experience interacting directly with the FTC and DOJ strongly preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in complex antitrust litigation in federal and state courts
